Through continuous guidance and assistance, IRO supports students throughout the application process, selection stages, administrative preparation, and pre-departure arrangements.

The International Impact Internship Program for Taiwan is supported by the Indonesian Human Resources Protection and Education Foundation, which serves as UMG’s partner in providing comprehensive information about internship opportunities in Taiwan, including application procedures, eligibility requirements, selection processes, and the benefits students can gain throughout the program.

From the beginning of the event, the venue was filled with enthusiastic participants, creating an energetic and inspiring atmosphere. The impressive turnout demonstrated the growing interest of UMG students in expanding their academic and professional experiences beyond national borders. The International Impact Internship Program offers students valuable opportunities to enhance their professional competencies, broaden their international perspectives, and develop cross-cultural communication skills that are increasingly essential in today’s global workforce.

During the socialization session, participants received comprehensive information regarding the program, including its objectives, eligibility requirements, application procedures, selection process, administrative preparation, and an overview of working and living in Taiwan. The session aimed to equip students with a clear understanding of the program and encourage them to prepare themselves for future international opportunities.

The event became even more engaging through presentations delivered by representatives of the Indonesian Human Resources Protection and Education Foundation, who shared valuable insights into Taiwan’s professional working environment, workplace culture, and the numerous opportunities available through the international internship program. Their explanations provided students with a realistic understanding of both the challenges and rewarding experiences they may encounter while participating in internships in Taiwan.

Throughout the event, students actively engaged in discussions, asked insightful questions, and showed great curiosity about the selection process, cultural adaptation, language preparation, and career prospects after completing the internship. The lively interaction between participants and the speakers reflected the strong motivation of UMG students to seize international opportunities and prepare themselves for future careers in an increasingly interconnected world.

Through initiatives such as this, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik continues to strengthen its commitment to internationalization by providing students with access to global learning and professional experiences. International mobility programs are part of UMG’s ongoing efforts to develop graduates who are adaptable, globally competitive, and well-prepared to thrive in the international workforce.

The International Relations Office (IRO) UMG hopes that this socialization will inspire more students to step beyond their comfort zones, embrace international opportunities, and proudly represent Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik on the global stage. Guided by the spirit of “Go Global,” UMG remains committed to empowering its students to become future-ready professionals capable of making meaningful contributions worldwide.
