Gresik, Amazing !! The entire UMG academic community should be proud because out of 3,381 State and Private Universities spread across Indonesia, UMG set a new historical record, where it became the only PT in Higher Education in Gresik which was included in the top 100 Indonesian Universities, and ranked 6th out of 321 Private Universities in East Java. Not only that, UMG’s ranking has skyrocketed, it has clearly confirmed UMG as number one in Gresik Regency.

This is a very proud and encouraging achievement. The Chancellor of Muhammadiyah University of Gresik, NadhirotulLaily, S.Psi, M.Psi, Psychologist, when met during his activities expressed his deepest gratitude, because UMG in 2022 was still ranked 295th, but at the beginning of 2023 it was ranked 85th and things exceeded the set target.

The success of UMG cannot be separated from the cooperation and synergy of all elements at Muhammadiyah Gresik University. It also requires the wisdom and willingness of all elements of the university such as lecturers, staff and students to want to make scientific works and upload them in electronic publications on the university’s website. So that each of them must be responsible for the content they publish.

He also expressed his great gratitude to the Government of Gresik Regency, especially the Regent of Gresik and his staff who always work together with UMG to work hand in hand with the Government and all partners with the same vision, namely advancing Gresik Regency.

“Thank you also to the Regional Government of Kab. Gresik, especially the Regent of Gresik, Gus Yani, who always involves Gresik Muhammadiyah University in various government activities,” he said.

The lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology also expressed his gratitude to the people of Gresik who have entrusted the education of their sons and daughters to Muhammadiyah Gresik University. “For the people who have entrusted their education to Muhammadiyah Gresik University, we thank you,” he explained.

“Hopefully this achievement will be our motivation to always improve the quality of education and the competitiveness of UniversitasMuhammadiyah Gresik at the national and international levels.
