2 July 2022, P2A is an association of universities in Southeast Asia that provides knowledge to academics and students regarding readiness to face the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Many activities are held in P2A such as The Asean Journey, The Asean Game and Ready ForAsean Certificate. And since May the Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) has officially become a member of P2A.

The first program that UMG participated in in this P2A was Virtual Mobility In Language & Culture Asean Gen Z. UMG was one of the participants who participated in this program among 15 universities from several countries including the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia and of course Indonesia.

On Saturday 2 July, 20 UMG students attended the opening ceremony using zoom media and several university rectors participated and gave greetings and thanks. the Chancellor of UMG, Dr.Eko Budi Leksono ST, MT also gave a speech and thanks at the opening ceremony and hoped to be able to participate in the next international program.

And this program will be implemented from july to august through zoom media. and the team was divided into 15 teams consisting of 10 students from various universities who joined the ASEAN GEN Z activities. And of course this program really supports the creativity of students to continue to be creative in international programs. in this activity the team was assigned to explore the culture and language and collected it in the form of a tiktok video with certain terms and conditions that had been set by the ASEAN GEN Z program mentor.
