
Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening international networks in higher education. In the 2025/2026 academic year, UMG will welcome 30 international students from various countries across three continents. These students will enroll in both regular and non-regular programs in various available study programs.The international students joining UMG come from Asia, Africa, and Europe. From Asia, regular program participants are from Thailand and Pakistan, while non-regular program participants come from China, Uzbekistan, and the Philippines. From Africa, regular students hail from Sudan, Libya, and the Comoros. Meanwhile, from Europe, the incoming student is from Ukraine. These students represent diverse cultural backgrounds that will enrich the learning dynamics at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik.
The presence of international students is expected to enhance the learning process at UMG through cultural exchange and global insight. This program is also part of UMG’s strategy to create a competitive campus atmosphere at the international level. These students will be involved not only in academic activities but also in non-academic events. The resulting cross-cultural interactions are anticipated to broaden the perspectives of local students. Their involvement will bring a unique vibrancy to campus life dynamics.
