Loei, Thailand – The Thailand & Indonesia Internship Reflection program, organized by the Loei Provincial Education Office on Thursday, September 25, 2025, became a valuable platform for Indonesian students to share their experiences after completing international internships in Thailand. The event was held from 08.30 to 12.00 local time, involving several universities from both Indonesia and Thailand. The program aimed to strengthen academic cooperation, broaden students’ perspectives, and enhance the quality of education through cross-cultural experiences.

One of the participants from Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG), Saniya Najwa Arsyid, took part in the reflection session. During her presentation, Najwa shared stories about her teaching and learning journey throughout the internship program. She expressed that the program not only improved her language and pedagogical skills but also deepened her understanding of cultural diversity. “This internship experience has taught me to be more adaptive, creative, and confident in teaching within a new environment with different cultural backgrounds. I am proud to represent UMG on this international stage,” said Najwa. The Internship Reflection event was attended by representatives from Thai educational institutions, school principals, mentor teachers, and students from various Muhammadiyah universities in Indonesia. The participation of UMG students in this forum reflects the university’s strong commitment to supporting educational internationalization and preparing graduates with global competitiveness. Through this event, it is expected that the collaboration between Indonesia and Thailand in the field of education will grow stronger, while also opening up new opportunities for students to continue developing themselves through international experiences.
