Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) continues to strengthen its global engagement by sending students abroad through its international Internship and Community Service (KKN) programs. Two selected students from the Agrotechnology Study Program have been assigned to contribute directly in partner schools located in Yala, Thailand. The participating students are Mochammad Yusuf Alfaruq, assigned to Lukmanulhakeem School, and Fawni Syahrurizaldi Ahmad, placed at Jipakdee Wittaya School. Throughout the program, they are expected to assist in classroom activities, introduce agricultural knowledge in applicable ways, and engage in cross-cultural interactions with students and educators.
This activity reflects UMG’s ongoing effort to enhance the learning experience through direct field exposure. It provides students with opportunities to apply their knowledge in real settings, interact with different communities, and understand the educational practices beyond Indonesia. Beyond academic benefits, this international program helps build stronger institutional collaboration between UMG and its overseas partners, while allowing students to grow in adaptability, professionalism, and cultural awareness.
