On Monday, June 2, 2025, Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG), through its International Relation Office (IRO), officially sent one student to Thailand to join an international internship program at Bandongnoi Koknongkae School, Loei Province. This program is part of the LOEI PEO’s Internship Program which focuses on Early Childhood Education.

The participant is Saniya Najwa Arsyad, a student from the Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Education. According to the official Letter of Acceptance from the host institution, she will carry out her internship for four months, starting from June 2 until September 30, 2025.

Through this program, UMG aims to provide students with global exposure and meaningful experience in an international teaching environment. It is hoped that this opportunity will enrich the participant’s academic and professional development, as well as strengthen the partnership between UMG and educational institutions in Thailand. UMG, especially the IRO team and the Faculty of Islamic Education, congratulates Saniya on this opportunity and wishes her a successful and impactful internship journey.
