On February 15 2024, Nibongchanupathum School held a Chinese New Year celebration. This event is held every year, this time Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik students had the opportunity to attend the event.

Apart from students from UMG, this event was also attended by all teachers, school directors and all Nibongchanupathum school students. Everyone who attends this celebration is required to wear red clothes as a characteristic of Chinese New Year.

This event began with the usual ceremonial activities of singing the national anthem and praying before the activities began.

After that, the students were asked to go up to the stands on the field to watch several performances such as lion dances and other dances.
The purpose of this event is to commemorate Chinese New Year every year.
