On Friday, 29 November 2023, Institute of Science Innovation and Culture, Rajamangala University of Technology Krungthep, Thailand (ISIC RMUTK) visited Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG) in the context of a Partnership Focus Group Discussion.

This event invited Dr. Yaoping Liu as the Director of ISIC RMUTK and his team consists of 4 people. Prof. Dr. Khoirul Anwar as Director of post graduate studies at UMG led the discussion session. This meeting was initiated to enrich the collaboration between both parties, especially in initiating a dual degree program. The discussion session was closed with the MoA of dual degree program signing. The signing ceremony was witnessed by UMG Vice Rector II, Head of Master of English Education department, Head of Partnership Office, and all dual degree teams.

The meeting also resulted in implementing a short program about research and culture in February, 2024 by inviting 5 Ph.D students from ISIC RMUTK to UMG.
