COOPERATION AND MOU SIGNING BETWEEN MUHAMMADIYAH UNIVERSITY GRESIK AND PT GARAM


August 9, 2022, the UMG Partnership Bureau received guests from the company PT GARAM at the Focus Group Discussion activity as well as the collaboration and signing of the UMG MOU with PT GARAM. The activity was held in the 7th floor meeting room of the UMG main building and this activity was attended by the Chancellor of UMG, Dr. Eko Budi Leksono S.T.M.T.IPM. and the dean of the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik.

PT GARAM was attended by Novisa Indra Director of Finance, HR and Risk Management, F. Purwanto Director of Operations and Development, Indra Kurniawan Corporate Secretary, Benni Wahyu P. GM Human Capital and General Affairs, Khomeini Ramadhan Corporate Legal Manager, Mariam Rista Spv. GCG, Febri Akbar Spv. Human Resources Development and Work Culture, Faustia Kartikasari Secretary Director, Sultan Syahril legal staff.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of UMG said that he was happy to be able to hold FGD and Cooperation activities and the signing of the MOU, so that he hopes that the next semester will be able to carry out programs including internships, expert lectures, etc..

Further remarks from the program and development director of PT GARAM Mr. F. Purwanto. On that occasion, he expressed his gratitude to the University of Muhammadiyah Gresik for being willing to cooperate with PT GARAM. And in that speech he also explained a brief profile of PT GARAM and its salt harvesting commodities in Indonesia and the world as an introduction to the discussion session. The next event was the signing of the MOU and a group photo.

In the discussion, each dean of the UMG faculty asked PT GARAM questions about the Cooperation program, especially regarding internships and new research on processed salt. And the questions posed by the deans were answered responsively by the program and development director, and he said there was still an internship quota for this year but not much and for the following year he will provide additional quotas for internship students from UMG then for research he also answered that it could be implemented and You can contact the Human Capital (HC) section, Mr. Benni Wahyu P to propose a Cooperation program to be implemented.
It can be concluded that this FGD resulted in several important things, including internships, expert lectures, research and innovation that will be carried out by UMG with PT GARAM
