COMPARISONAL STUDY OF UMG AND UMPP
August 4, 2022, the International Relations Office of UMG received a guest from the University of Muhammadiyah Pekajangan Pekalongan to conduct a comparative study on international cooperation or the international affairs office. The activity was held in a meeting room on the 7th floor of the main building of UMG and this activity was attended by the Chancellor of UMG, Dr. Eko Budi Leksono. S.T.M.T.IPM. and several invited guests from UMG.
UMPP was attended by Aida Rusmariana, S. Kep., Ns., MAN - Head of the UMPP Language Development and Cooperation Institute (LPBK), Aisyah, S. Pd., M. Pd -Secretary of LPBK UMPP, Ners. Sugiharto, MAN., Ph. D - International Cooperation Division, Beni Arief Sulistyanto, S.Kep., Ns., MSN -Lecturer, Titis Aji Wicaksono, S. Kom -Ka. Academic Bureau.
In his remarks, the Chancellor of UMG said that this activity was an important activity aimed at establishing friendship between PTMs and exchanging ideas to develop education in the coming year. And the UMPP party was represented by Mrs. Aida Rusmariana, S. Kep., Ns., MAN as the Head of the Institute for Language Development and Cooperation (LPBK). On that occasion, Mrs. Aida said she wanted to learn about KUI because UMPP had just started branding and had difficulty finding students for international classes, so on this occasion UMPP hopes to learn a lot about Cooperation in the country, abroad and independent campuses.
The next discussion, Miss Paulina as head of IRO UMG briefly explained about the international class that will collaborate in the near future and shared tips on international classes, this got a quite responsive response from UMPP and UMPP asked about several things that must be prepared, how make students interested in participating in international programs etc.
In this discussion session, Miss Paulina also mentioned several activities that will be held in the near future, namely accepting foreign students from Vietnam and UMPP also wants to work together to invite these foreign students to visit the UMPP campus. This activity ended with a group photo session.
